CS>Asthma and CS, again.

Hi,
I have a grandchild who is 7. When she gets to running around playing she will 
get into coughing jags....or at night if she is not propped up with pillows she 
coughs really hard I give her cough syrup, during the times I get to see her I 
give her cs....wouldn't help to put cs in a vaporizer at least too?
