A friends cat, diagnosed with Feline Leukemia and given the death sentence has been drinking CS straight up... for about 8 years now. If she doesn't get it for a few weeks, she has relapses, [last I heard a few years ago] so maybe not a cure, but well controlled. Happy active kittie...prefers CS over plain water.
