Color is generally due to particle agglomeration and it can vary at the same PPM from no color to pale bright yellow to tea color, even reddish or purple.
Any little thing..a trace contaminant..too hot [while it's being made]..can cause a batch to 'kick' and cascade now or later.
Once it is stable, CS tends to stay that way, but an added contaminant can cause it to kick then too.

A few drops of Hydrogen Peroxide will usually clear it up in a day or so and make it good.

I produced my first batch of CS, the color was a fairly intense yellow. Using the same settings, water, etc my second batch only had a tinge of yellow. Both show to be about 14ppm. Should there be any difference other than color?
