I don't know if the fish bubbler tubing "gives off" anything, I would
imagine the air bubbler stone might. But I have used a fish bubbler both
with and without the air stone attached for stirring in a homemade
generator. Though the CS sometimes went yellow, the yellow CS proved to
be a problem of distilled water quality, and nothing to do with the
tubing or stone, nor the air being bubbled through.
