hello silver-ists, i remember when i first joined this list, there were a bunch of discussions about "type" of water to use and that it wasnt enough to just use any distilled water but that it absolutely HAD to be "STEAM-distilled" water. i can't remember what the other possible "wrongly-distilled" non-options were and it's driving me nuts because i can't figure out any OTHER way to distill water except with steam. but if this is the only way - then what's the point in the big caution against using any "otherly" distilled water ??
