Matthew,
I have seen Viadent recently on the shelves of some local pharmicies in
So. Cal. It is hard to come by... the only ingredient that prevents me from
buying it is the fluoride... I won't put that in my mouth. Too bad... the
bloodroot and zinc chloride will probably kill just about any pathogen you can
think of.

Subject: CS>Ingredients of Viadent
Yes, it is very interesting that Viadent and escharotic salves
share the chief active ingredients. I didn't think they
targeted the same pathogens, or did they? I used Viadent
in the early '90s to get rid of gum inflammation, before I
learned about CS. My dentist was astonished about how
fast and thoroughly Viadent worked, and consequently
recommended it to his other patients. Does anyone know
if and why it disappeared? (Ahh...lemme guess..)
