Since I started using an Aquarium bubbler,there has been no black streaks or silver plating on the inside or bottom of the glass jar.An odd thing did happen with a former batch lately,when it was finished there was a faint sheen of silver floating on the surface of the water.This has happened only once,so far. Any comments? Harold
