I agree with Terry. I have samples several years old sitting in a sunny windowsill that remain unchanged. Some were made with very strong magnets used to stir it and some are sitting right next to a big stack of magnets. Quite frankly, I don't think that CS has an electrical or 'ionic' charge that lasts beyond a day or so as all these things balance out in a few hours regardless of where and how the CS is stored. Where and how all those things balance 'before' storage can depend on the process and setup used, but I've not seen very strong magnets make any difference at all.
Freezing/refrigerating CS..not good. Both too much and too little Brownian motion has its effects.
