Just thought I'd mention that Oregano essential oil is a "powerful emmenagogue" so should not be used during pregnancy. It is also said to be a fairly severe skin irritant and a very severe mucous membrane irritant. Doesn't necessarily mean not to use it, but caution is a good idea, using it well diluted, especially until one sees one's personal and individual reaction to it. One of my books suggests Marjoram in place of Oregano as it has similar therapeutic properties, but is safer. The medicinal uses of Marjoram itself (the essential oil) are extensive.

Just for reference, my favorite essential oil book is of the "English school" of essential oil use, which is much more cautious than the "French school" of oil usages. However, I'm a cautious person myself, with a lot of allergies -- sensitive to many things, so I'm happy with a very cautious approach to using essential oils.

Very interesting about nebulizing 00. From my
own experience with this oil, I too hope that the
experimenters will proceed with great caution. But since it can be a most beneficial thing, I am
very interested in what is learned about
nebulizing it. For my part, plese feel free to
post any and all very early results. pj
