No, taste is not how we know that hard, PETE/PET
plastic doesn't bleed. Bob Berger tested the CS
beforehand with a spectrophotometer, then tested the
CS after being stored in various types of plastic
containers. The spectrophotometer showed no increase
in ppm whatsoever. This with a device that measures
ppm in 1/10's (i.e., 12.1 ppm).
