The galvanic reaction between amalgam fillings and gold crowns is why my
remaining amalgams were removed and replaced with
composite (we do have it here) more than 20 years ago. Most of my
amalgams were replaced with gold or porcelain crowns.
I didn't get any music reception. But I can attest that the electric
shocks were very painful.
