Mr. Key... it is my understanding that ions are absorbed mostly in the
mucous membranes of the mouth before reaching the stomach. That's why it is
best to hold the solution in the mouth for a minute or more before
swallowing.

Furthermore, when a comparative test between ionic and colloidal silver is
conducted that exposes the silver products to the 3600 ppm chloride
envirnoment found in stomach acid the ionic silver is almost completely
