Thanks for the article by Duncan Crow. That was where I got the idea back in 
2002, but didn't like the results from brewing in a cell, when I ran the tests 
with it.
 
My tests were run on 1/31/03 and 2/1/03  using one gallon of DW. In 10 minutes 
it measures 6.82 PPM but was slightly gray in color with a very strong T. E., 
6" spacing.
 
The fast movement of water in the flow thru appears to have solved the problems.
 
If you want pictures and data plots then send me a stamped and addressed #10 
envelope with 2 stamps on it.
 
I used distilled water which has a very much lower conductivity than reverse 
osmosis water, and hence takes longer.
 
I will try the reverse osmosis water as it should make the process go faster. 
The only question in my mind is what are the impurities in RO water.
