I read that no preservative is needed if the vaccines are packaged in small, single-use dosages and handled properly. I suppose refrigeration is important.
I am aware of no alternative preservatives. Given the nature of our list, is is puzzling that EIS or some other form of silver is not used if the Pharms. insist on making the larger, multi-dose units. 


I am not an MD or clinician and have limited knowledge about this 
topic; maybe someone else on this list has all the details.   But if 
the claim is true, I think it is really damning.
