For adhesions, try Edgar Cayce style Castor Oil packs over the abdomen.
Will have to do a series of them for some time.

Dan.

Question for Duncan Crow

Hi! I also have a lazy colon which is way longer than most folks have
and also it doesn't stay put, but moves around. I have used a cascara
product in the past, but found it did cause cramps. Now, after trying
many kinds of medication, Zelnorm, etc. I have returned to the product
I depended on throughout college years and beyond. That is plain old
mineral oil. For a few years now, I had avoided it, but now Iffgd, ( I
think those are the right initials) has printed an article saying that
mineral oil does not keep one from assimilating vitamins. The main
danger is the possibility of coughing or something while you are taking
it an aspirating it into your lungs. This organization specializes in
researching irritable bowel syndrome. I don't have their address here
at the library, but think you would find it under "irritable bowel
syndrome" on the web. On Friday, I will try to remember to bring the
address. I am still having quite a little discomfort with my digestive
tract in general, although bowel function is definitely better. My next
approach will be to eliminate microwave cooking . This morning I stood
in front of the microwave cooking a bunch of squash that I have frozen.
Now , this afternoon, here are articles about the dangers of
microwaving. I have been vaguely aware of this possibility, but like
others have ignored it. I do have a steamer in which I often do
vegetables, but, of course, it takes longer. Another problem with my
bowel is adhesions which , I would guess, may not respond to stopping
microwaving, We'll see. Cheers, [email protected]
