Before you opt for surgery do some reading on Richard Schulze's site:
<www.herbdoc.com>
He does wonders with colons such as yours. Very interesting reading, too.

Betsy...
Your correct normally the digestive trac would have absorb the pills,
but these were radioactive (something like that anyway) they are meant
not to be digested just determine how long it take for the food to be
eliminated. For years the doctors have told me eat more fiber...
fiber... fiber. Now I'm not suppose to take fiber... it was causing a
lot of discomfort. I've taken just about every kind of digestive
enzyme by the bottle full... The one thing that helps is a fluid diet.
I'm slowly work toward incorporating it to be 80% of my diet. I eat a
lot of grapes (red seedless). And do soup with lot of broth. I'm 98%
vegetarian. I still have tuna and sometimes chicken.
One of the doctor put me on an antibiotics which was suppose to get the
colon to spasm... after a few days I determined that I would not want
to take it forever even if it did work. My next option was to have
reconstructive surgery... pretty drastic! So I continue my quest.
thanks
connie
