I have no doubt they are shutting down borders but it probably only has to do with "avian flu" because it was an convenient excuse to round up people for harvesting organs and to gather something called "boutique plasmas" for vaccines and cancer treatments. One great place to pick up perfectly healthy people who may have questionable documentation is at the borders. There may be as many as 900 million Chinese who are living with shared identities because of the 1 child policy. >From time to time there are roundups especially when Beijing has need of cash or if a vaccine or pharmaceutical cash cow presents itself. SARS was probably not announced because it may well have come out of one of the many illegal weapons plants operating in conjunction with the WEST in the interior of China. 1. Avian flu can only be gotten from repeated exposure by poultry workers. 2. It is seldom fatal. 3. No human to human transmission has been documented and certainly not from 'China'.
