I just want to throw this out there- Regardless of whether pig fat is
rendered or how similar it is to humans to some religions and religious sects
it
is forbidden.
Every human group has some things that are sacred and some that are profane.
It is not logical. Whatever logic there was for it has been lost over the
centuries.
Pig fat in soap is as offensive to Muslims and Jews as Beef byproducts would
be to a Hindu or whiskey to a Mormon or buttons to Amish or for that matter,
California white Zinfandel to the French >:)
I am not condemning or advocating it or any religion just throwing it out
there for thought.
