Hi Ken, That is not so you can make it with any voltage. the lower voltage takse longer. If you use a bubbler along with it, it works very well even at 6 volts. Ideal is about 30 volts but any volts works. My personla one uses about 45 volts. when you have more voltage then you have to watch the current as the conductivity goes up. With low volts the conductivuty cant go too high easily so you dont have to monitor it so much.
