My understanding is that "downer" cows have been fed to pigs and that CJD
has been found in pork waste since the late 90s. Whether they can pass it on, I
don't know.
What is the effects of CS on Prion disease? Anyone know? Since there are
some really nasty prion diseases and people are traveling more to the areas
affected, I would "seriously" like to know, no pun intended.

possible that there is truth beyond perception but not possible that there is
truth beyond belief.
Look at the spectrum of the "truths' of the people on this list. Who is to
say that health is not so specific that that each belief of truth is not
accurate to each person but not as truthful in general.
V you brought a smile to my face. I am a vegetarian because I travel in the
3rd world. Poor nations buy US cattle and livestock to upgrade their
breeding stock. Because these farmer seldom have access to US vets and meds,
the US
cattle often dies within weeks full of nasty parasite. They have to cook and
eat it to mitigate the economic loss and they often honor the gods and the
American visitor with this lovely meal. But the time I got parasites in India
it was because my assistant was blessing my plates with Ganges water.
I never thought of that until I read about your diet . Question paradigms!
I am also having my sinus' drain since I started drinking CS. Is that normal?

I am not aware of pork ever having any prion problems. I think the problem is
that pigs are carnivorous and thus know how to deal with this type of thing,
but cows are herbivores and never ate meat, so they are very susceptible.
Humans are omnivorous, and are less susceptible than cows, but still somewhat
susceptible. Interestingly due to BSE neither my wife nor I will eat beef,
but we do eat pork.
