Hi Connie if you are interested in Kefir I would love to send you some just 
look on Dom's site. the site should tell you how to grow it the store bought 
starter is an imitation of what is really in there . And you can use store 
bought cows milk or goats milk.  for the actual Kefir grains usaully we just

I must have missed some of the links.   You were talking about Yeast and 
treating it using Kefir.  I'm not familiar with with Kefir.  What are we 
talking about something that can be bought prepared or has to be made.  And how 
do we make it.  It sounds like a cheese from what was said.
