Any problem there, Charles? I just looked through the raw text of my copy of digest #891 and didn't find anything remotely resembling a virus or other mal-ware.
In fact I was impressed by the number of people who have gotten in the habit of turning off their fancy formatting and are sending only plain text! Thanks for that folks! If you continue to have any difficulties, please contact me directly at [email protected] ... If you ever have reason to believe that a virus or other mal-ware has penetrated the list, please alert me directly at the earliest opportunity. Most such cases have turned out to be false alarms caused by mal-ware activity forging list-related addresses, or otherwise confused headers. I prefer to deal with these things off-list so others are not needlessly alarmed. If I ever see a genuine threat, I'll be the first in line to alert everybody. Thanks.
