I know how good ginger is for the stomach and GI. Strained fresh juice or tea from fresh ginger. BTW, in case anyone doesn't know, you can buy a large amoung of fresh ginger root when it is good quality, wash and dry it, break into manageable size pieces, and freeze. I keep one in a separate bag and shave off bits of it as needed with a heavy sharp knife.

Have tried in the past to get my husband to use or drink ginger tea, he won't. The only place he will tolerate ginger is in pumpkin pie.

Ginger tea/juice is also a great tonic for animals that will take it. My pet rabbits love it.

P.S. this thread begins to sound like my husband suffers because of all the possibly helpful things he refuses to use, or even try, doesn't it?
