There is a basic rudimentary method for determining dosage of any
supplement for self experimenters.

Check with discussion groups to see what the common ground is.
You'll get a window to work in.

Start with a reasonable dose, and see how it affects you.

Find a dose that is effective by upping the dosage incrementally.

With innocuous stuff like CS, large (quart) doses over short (week)
periods are not likely to harm anything but cooties.
Why anyone would do that for years is beyond me unless it's a cancer
(better blue than dead)!

For me, A shotglassful daily has kept me infection free for 10 years.
If you wait to treat your infection, it takes much more.
To me, a prophylactic dose that boosts my immunity makes more sense
than having to deal with an infection that has gained a foothold.

Yes, doses of ANYTHING is an individual thing, even food!

MY plan on CS is, Large doses with abandon when needed, small doses
daily for the rest of my life.

If you throw a cat out of the car window, does it become kitty
  litter?

Is it OK to use the AM radio after noon?

What do people in China call their good plates?

What do you call a male ladybug?

When dog food is new and improved tasting, who tests it?
