We have a rectangular ferrite magnet about 1x2x.5 inches that I've marked the North seeking pole with a piece of masking tape. I've instructed Rose and the kids to always keep the tape away from their bodies, but to use the magnet for pain.
I don't remember anything with the kids, but Rosie has used it a number of times to get rid of an itch or stitch or cramp in her foot. Says it works. No placebo effect, here.
