An interesting essay to say the least.
At least it's more reasoned than that silly hack job previously
posted! THAT was a simple propaganda piece designed to terrorize and
disgust with hot-button vernacular! Only a fool would consider it
seriously!
As far as I read, my snap conclusion would be a reconfirmation of the
"nothing in excess" and" moderation in all things" adages apply here
also!
The human body is capable of a great deal of self-correcting to
homeostasis as long as it is not overwhelmed by mono- dieting.
There are strong cases made against vegetarianism ( a religion), but
nobody should eliminate veggies from their diet without expecting dire
consequences .
Raw foodists that take it to extremes find themselves suffering
needlessly, but raw milk from a certified farm is a FAR superior a
food than pasteurized, homogenized molecularly changed commercial
milk. Raw/rare meat, in general, is a better choice health-wise.
I make it a point to vary my diet and supplements greatly, not giving
any single item a huge priority.
Some of the points made in the article he lists as negative, I see as
positives, so I cannot be convinced to eliminate pork as a diet item.
So far, the only item I will eliminate from MY diet is sugar.
It was easier to convince me to eliminate my microwave oven!

I wouldn't hurt a fly, but only because they taste funny!
