Ship me a few, Bill- We don't seem to have any toads at all here- maybe it's too cold. I don't have any dogs but I have lots of slugs. I had toads in San Diego and their droppings were full of sowbug exoskeletons. I sure miss them.
Cutest toads I ever saw lived in the warm sluice troughs from overflow of a hot spring in the desert. They were tiny- 1- 1.5" and very cute. The hot springs are high in sulfur, which will turn your silver electrodes a nice black. But I can feel a big health boost from bathing in a hot spring. Once I had a fierce headache from a couple of nights of poor sleep on the road, then drove until 4 am to get home afterward with my headache gone (no room in the hot spring campground).
