Hi Chuck, I have found that with the microwave generator current density is a problem. I found it is possible to get cell currents as high as 260 mA. Currents this high causes excessive agglomeration and the EIS turning black. You can adjust for this in two ways: 1. Use very large silver anode and a rod cathod as the generator produces half cycle or plused DC. This is expensive. 2. Put a 40 or 60 watt light bulb in the anode circuit to limit the current to no more than 2mA per sqin of anode silver. Because of the high voltage I use a 1% 10 ohm, 5 or 10 watt resistor in series with the anode lead as a metering device and measure the voltage across it. Then convert that voltage into current with Ohm's law. I do like the microwave generator for colloidal gold because it has such high current capability. I hope this helps, let me know. "Ole Bob"

I remember you building one and getting quite excited about the results. I believe it was something about the product having peculiar properties. Do you recall what that was? Chuck
