Distilled by definition means the water has been vaporized and condensed.
Steam distilled means that heat of vaporization at atmospheric pressures
was used.
Vacuum distilled is done at lower temperatures.
Seeing "Steam Distilled" or any 'means' of distillation on labels is rare,
but distilled is distilled none the less.
Distillers need periodic maintenance, so, purity varies from jug to jug.
Some distillers don't monitor quality as well as others.
Some brands check and enforce standards better and more often than others.
Water is distilled regionally, often for several brands. [Shipping water
around is expensive]
If you live in a low population area, there may only be one distiller
servicing every brand.
Filtered is filtered and it says "filtered" or "drinking water" on the label.
It may or may not not say how it was filtered.
Filtering systems need maintenance too.
RO water can be good enough...even really good, but usually isn't.
De-ionized water is filtered and run through various ion exchange mediums
to make it chemically pure. Generally good stuff if you can get it.

No, if it says "steam distilled" on the jug, it's most
likely ok. The single word, "distilled" is used for
all kinds of water-treatment methods, including
Reverse Osmosis and plain filtering.
