Well they are making their own, but it doesn't knock it down, they have tried dose rates at up to 15ppm, but to no avail, I have advised them to spray the pens out and to spell the pens to give the CS a chance to kill the bug. Problem is they don't have a spare pen, sort of a 22 catch situation. Make their own CS,; dilute it down to about 5 PPM. -----Original Message----- From: HRBE [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Sunday, April 02, 2006 9:07 PM To: [email protected] Subject: CS>Re:Coccodiosis have a friend who commercially breeds chickens (chooks as we Aussies call them!) for meat, and they currently have a problem with Coccidiosis. They are certified antibiotic & hormone free, but they have been using CS in the drinking water, they have noticed a vast improvement in the condition of the birds when they kill them, but they have a problem in one pen. The pens houses 3500 birds. They have not entirely eradicated the problem, but I have recommended them spraying out the pens, but they have been reluctant because of the cost of the CS Any ideas out there? John in Australia
