My question: does Xylitol feed some pathogens has stimulated a great deal of traffic on the stuff, but no one has addressed the issue: Does it feed some pathogens? Jim
As I understand it Jim, it makes the mucous membranes too slippery for the bacteria etc. to cling on, and they get washed away. Also, as I understand it, its structure is different to sugar, and so would not feed things the same way that sugar might.
