I am disinclined to accept the idea that root canals are permanent
sources of infection and that nothing can be done about it. There may
be simple solutions.

I find a sure way to kill any pathogen is to heat it up past a certain
temperature, just as fevers are meant to do. I've used heating pads on my
face to kill pathogens in sinus infections, with great results. I now use
a far infrared (FIR) ceramic heat bulb for heating joints with great
results. CS has eliminated the need for heat on my face as it eliminated
my sinus infections, but I would probably try FIR on the root canals and
repeat periodically to kill any new pathogens. I use a layer of cotton
cloth between my skin and the heat bulb to keep it from burning my skin and
keep it at the closest tolerable distance so it feels really hot but not
painfully so. Someone here said the cloth also absorbs the infrared rays
so just the far infrared ones get through.
