I just got over the bug myself. Fortunately neither of my kids got it (knock on wood). I took CS continually throughout the duration of it, however, the first day I drank very little water because of the stomach cramps. It went away in 48 hours, so I don't know if that was the life of the bug regardless or whether the CS helped speed up the healing process. I didn't use any other homeopath option. I'm also nursing a 4 month old and she hasn't shown any signs of the bug. The second day I drank Gatorade with the CS.
