My Dr.,whom I tend to believe, told me that plastics in which food-stuffs are stored,leach out a chemical that mimics Estrogen.This Estrogen is the one thing the Med. profession is able to link to Gall -stones.Evidently,more women suffer this condition than men.Except,as men get older,they can and do have higher Estrogen levels than women.Their Testosterone levels are depleted resulting in Estrogen being dominant.eventually turning men more feminine,ie larger breasts.etc.Also this can result in more men with gall-stones. I store my CS in glass,both clear and ex coloured wine bottles. Harold
