Well the cotten already has the pesticide in it, genetically. I think they were just wanting the sheep to graze on grass, and I am sure they would know not to use any pestacides on the grass that sheep is grazing. The problem seems to have been that some of the cotten came back up, and they grazed on it, and got poisoned.
