Barbara -- Have the woman take her son to a chiropractor who has an 
Electro-Stim machine.  Most chiros do -- it is used to relax back muscles for 
spine 
treatments.  The electrical current neutralizes the venom.  This is an easy, 
painless treatment.  But do it quickly.      MA
