That would be my guess. Not sure if they test it for the viri or antibodies.
If for the antibodies, then they are going to surge when you get a herx, so I
would expect the test to show a surge as well.  If particles, then it is likely
that the live particles may be hiding themselves, but once they die, they get
dumped into the blood stream where the test counts them.

Anyway, that is some very good information.
