If your friend is diabetic, the medications could be a factor. Has she done any research on the meds to see if this is a side effect? Also, if she is diabetic, she has elevated sugar levels which can cause candida albicans. This fungus can attack the scalp and sometimes you dont know it. It doesnt always have visable symptoms.
