Re the Altman study, most of the excreted silver was found in the urine, not in the stool.
Here is the site again (Marshall posted it in his reply too)
http://www.silvermedicine.org/altmanstudy.html So it seems to me, that not only would any silver in the lower intestines be immobilized by the solidity of the intestinal contents at that point, but by that point most of the silver ingested is simply no longer there anyway.

Aaah, thanks for this clarification, Marshall. Therefore, is it fair to deduce that the CS in the intestines has little to no impact on gut bacteria, good or bad?

I have been taking up to 20 oz. of CS orally for over 6 years. I have never had a problem with my digestion. If you read the study done by Roger Altman. You will see that most of the CS is eliminated through the feces and does not go through your digestive system.

This sounds contradictory. Normally when something taken by mouth shows up in the feces it indicates that it went through the digestive system. However in this case the liver removes it from the blood and puts it back in the intesines. So the CS goes into the blood stream, then when taken out goes into the bladder via the kidneys and back into the intestines via the liver. But as indicated in my previous message, silver is inactive when in a solid matrix.

This web site will prove that CS will NOT build up anywhere in your body:http://www.silvermedicine.org/AltmanStudy.pdf
