I now use 500mL of bleach per load, and the residue makes my skin chapped and split without the vinegar. I have discovered that bleach degrades very quickly, and many warehouses may keep it on the shelf for months before shipping. For my needs, it is useless by that time, which is why I need to use so much. The date codes are easy. For example, there will be a number 6 somewhere, plus three digits to tell the day of the year. You can get a Day of Year Calendar here: http://www.vpcalendar.net/Julian_Date.html So today, July 01, 2006 would have a code number of 182 preceeded or followed with a 6. I just checked the local grocery, and they still have date codes back in the 130's. That is a very long time for bleach to sit on the shelf. Hopefully, soon I won't need it anymore:) Best Regards, Mike Monett -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver.
