Hellp Pat:
Actually your body maintains it balance to keep alive but as one gets older
, the tendancy is towards acidity. As the cells become more and more acid,
the body grows its tendancy to host disease. You can purchase litmus paper
on many places on the web and measure the pH of your saliva two hours after
putting anything intoyourmouth 2-3 times a day for a week or two and get a
general picuture of the acidity of your cells. If your body can produce
saliva at 7.2 - 7.4 at least once a day, preferrably in the morning, that is
a good sign. There are foods that acidify and foods that alkalinize your
body. I have a PDF file from one company, Greens Plus that talks about
their litmus paper and the effect of different foods. Greens plus is a
popular green food that is sold in health food stores and drug stores in the
health food section. It's a hard pdf to find on a browser so i downloaded
it and keep a hard copy. I sent you a copy through a private email.

Subject: CS>Acid/base balance
From what I've been reading, it seems balancing the
acid and base in the body is the key to everything. A
lot of other great things won't help much if your body
can't absorb them and retain them.
I wish all of you who have a website would include the
address in your signature. I have a hard time finding
even the ones I've visited before (too many bookmarks
I guess).
Thanks to all of you....
Pat
