She's still on that IV... see below: (check out the date of that post)
-------- Original Message -------- Subject: ingenuity and willingness to take a risk Date: Sat, 01 Oct 2005 20:15:20 -0500 From: Dan Nave <[email protected]> To: [email protected] <[email protected]> I have a neighbor who has an MRSA infection in an ear and also in two or more places on the skin. She is on IV antibiotics via a pic line. I gave her some CS and explained it to her along with dosing etc. She tried it, some gargled and spit out and keeping a piece of gauze wet with CS over the skin sores. She has stopped using it because she got a couple of swellings, one on the jaw and another time on the neck, after using CS. I suggested she continue at a lower amount but she is going to use it "after she gets rid of the infection with the IV antibiotic". Now, as far as I am concerned, the IV antibiotic has done next to nothing. The CS definitely started attacking the problem.
