I have a neighbor who has an MRSA infection in an ear and also in two or
more places on the skin. She is on IV antibiotics via a pic line.

I gave her some CS and explained it to her along with dosing etc. She
tried it, some gargled and spit out and keeping a piece of gauze wet
with CS over the skin sores. She has stopped using it because she got a
couple of swellings, one on the jaw and another time on the neck, after
using CS. I suggested she continue at a lower amount but she is going
to use it "after she gets rid of the infection with the IV antibiotic".

Now, as far as I am concerned, the IV antibiotic has done next to
nothing. The CS definitely started attacking the problem.

"(sigh)"
