You can select a different sound file for each filter so that you know
where the messages are from, by the sound.
My computer nerd daughter and also my
husband say the new Eudora is not nearly as good as my
version (5.2.1).
I liked the 5.X but now use Version 6.1 and I think I have the update
that makes it Ver 6.3. Have not tried the Ver 7.X yet.
I have been using Eudora since ver 1.X or 2.X

Not sure how you define hard? Don't recall many hard tasks over the
years other than writing a Keyboard Handler and some communications modules
that took a week to a month.
The Mailbox files and Index files will be close to 500 Megs, One CD.
I believe these files work with different versions of Eudora. I have a
nearby friend who uses Ver 5.X I think. I could email him a small mailbox
and index file to see if they work. The largest file has 27,000 messages
but I can split them up in any shape, form, or fashion when I need to.
Will keep you posted when I determine these will work with other versions.
