Osiyo Nigadv! Hello Everyone! Making a saline solution recipe is 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt or canning salt per quart. Do not use regular processed table salt as it has additives that can cause contamination. You can make your saline solution using your CS or distilled water and adding some CS to it for further pathogen killing. This is the recipe I use for my nasal irrigation using the NeilMed bottle.
For deep wounds I have used a compress of plantain, alovera gel, and chaparral to draw out the dead stuff. Adding DMSO will speed up recovery. This combo allows healing from the bottom out where using a OTC antibiotic salve will allow scabbing over locking in the diseased tissue. I found this out when I scraped a hole to the bone in my shin when falling thru a steel trailer. Neosporin did not work to heal, just kept it from becoming infected. CS works better.
