I raise cattle for a living. Do not use the CS internally as Heidrun
Beer said. I would push the colostrum that can be purchased from any
agricultural and vet supply store. I use colostrum all the time for my
own health and it works wonders. It should work for this animal as it
is it's natural food substance. Make sure it is colostrom and not just
milk replacer. It has been a great help in gaining my health. It will
raise it's immunity to help fight the cold as well.
Is this animal of the milk or the meat producing breeds?

I have a good friend who rescues all kinds of animals. She has a
premature calf who was left to die. He was born with no ears and has a
cold....he is about three months old. Would it be okay to treat him
with the cs and about how much how often?
thanks much debbie
