Got this from a Doggie list;
First, get concentrated garlic juice out of your juicer (not blender). The amount of garlic you crush will depend on how wide the area the mange has spread on the dog's body. (Garlic no need to peel skin). Then apply (rub) the concentrated garlic juice on the infected areas and 1 cm diameter surrounding the infected areas. Leave it on for 10mins, then wash it off with water. Re-apply a few days later if you see any infected areas that you missed. Garlic acts like an antibiotic but doesn't have the side effect. It kills the microscopic mites that causes the mange. Remember to put on disposable gloves while applying the garlic. You might also want to feed a spoonful of garlic juice to your dog once a month (not on empty stomach) to prevent her from having ticks/fleas and bad breath My neighbour feed her dogs one clove of garlic once a week. Her dogs has been free of ticks, fleas and mites. I personally cured a stray dog that was almost dead from mange. No hair left, just scabs. I put about 12 cloves garlic in my blender with a quart of DW. Strained it and put it in a garden sprayer and sprayed the dog. Took only about 3 applications. once every three days.. -- Day Sutton [email protected] -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver.
