Hi Terry,

One obvious economy is to use 1 oz coins or ingots rather than wire. 
They're available all over the place. You'd have to work out some kind 
of connector or holder that would only allow silver to get into the 
water.

For animal consumption, I'd imagine that doing it in tap water or well 
water would be fine. It'll speed up the generating process, for sure.

Can you scale up so he can make bigger batches, maybe a day's worth at 
a time, for mixing with the food?

Sounds like an interesting project. I'm eager to hear if what he's 
doing already will have any effect.
