You say that your batteries last for 1 month making colloidal silver for 6 dogs 
and 3 people.

For the standard nuclear family we might assume that the three people are one child, one wife and one husband. If dogs average about 60 pounds apiece, then we could assume that one child might be equivalent to one dog (by weight), one wife would be equivalent to two dogs (or a little more in some cases) and one husband would be the equivalent of 3 dogs.

6 dogs
1 child = 1 dog
1 wife = 2 dogs
1 husband = 3 dogs

Total dog equivalent = 12 dogs

Therefore since the batteries last 1 month for 12 dogs worth of colloidal silver, we can say one set of batteries last for 12 dog-months. Using the equivalencies we could also say that a set of batteries would last for 12 child-months, 6 wife-months, or 4 husband-months.
