As close as possible or as far away as needed to reduce current flow. Placing the + electrode on a cheek bandage variably soaked with CS and the other inside opposite from and next to the gum could limit current flow to a bearable level.
How long to saturate the tissue?
Who knows? Go as long as you can stand it.
My girlfriend has a tumor right where they took out a wisdom tooth( a year ago). Do you think this is a good idea? Tim D
Dunno how good, but probably not a bad idea. I've done similar on a deep cat bite and it seems to have done a good job.
