This was my experience;
I was to the Post office for stamps.
The lady ahead of me in the line up had a small dog,fuzzy type.When her turn
came, she picked the dog up and placed it on the counter in front of the
tellers window.She also placed her large bag there too.When my turn came,I
wanted a sheet of stamps.The teller slid them out on the counter,glue side
down over where this dog and bag had been sitting.I objected,but too late.I
went to the PO manager and told him about this and asked if this should be
noted and in the future,glue side should be up.He looked surprised and then
shrugged.
Recently there was an expose' on TV where some researchers went out taking
swabs of many things for culturing for Pathogens.Scary,to say the least;and
the bottoms of womens purses were some of the worst offenders.Especially
when they are put on the floors of the Ladies public rest-rooms.And who
knows where that little dog had been and what it had trod in.Needless to
say,I wasn't a happy camper.
